Welcome to Designs by Donna!  Thanks for taking the time to look at my designs. Every event, no matter how big or small, starts with the invitation.  Your invitation can be simple and understated or glitzy and glamorous; but it does set the tone for your affair and will remain in our guest’s home for many weeks leading up to your big day.  My goal is to make sure that you are excited and in love with your finished product. After completing my MBA and working for over 17 years in New York City, I decided to stop commuting once my third child was born.  I had always created invitations and stationery for family and friends and loved designing each individual piece.  I went to the annual Stationery Show at the Javitz Center and immediately knew this would be my next career.    I started my business slowly with birth announcements, communion and party invitations, holiday cards, personalized pads, stationery, gift stickers and luggage tags.  Each year I would return to the stationery show and purchase more and more lines as I built up my business.  I now carry just about every brand of bar/bat mitzvah and wedding invitation brand on the market.  My favorite specialty is custom design.  I love to take an idea and create an invitation for a customer’s special needs.  It doesn’t matter how many hours I spend with my customer as long as when we are finished, there’s a smile on their face when they see their finished product.   Of course I take care of all your calligraphy needs whether you choose computer or hand calligraphy. After 17 years of creating invitations, each one is special to me. In addition to invitations, I also can help you with place cards, all types of clothing and candy favors, programs, photo favors and yarmulkes.
